I made bread pudding (with bread I made last week) and I am marinating some pork chops.
I feel better. I am going to make twice-baked baked potatoes with three different kinds of cheese.

Tonight we shall watch MI-5 and I will get my British bad-ass spies fix for the week.

Do you want hilarious? Sometimes the only way to relieve the intense pain in my jaw is to smile a whole bunch. I can hear my mother laughing right now.
So sometimes I will sit at home, reading a book or knitting and I will have to smile a whole bunch while I do that.
heh.

I am having this urge to go to Target and look at random stuff and buy useless stuff.
What is it about that place? It just makes me think, "oh my gosh, this is cheap, I need it."

Dustin has informed me that we are registering at Target. I think this will be very dangerous. I cannot go into that store without spending at least $50. Things just seem to jump into the cart. I also REALLY want a pair of baby socks that rattle that they have there. (no, I'm not pregnant yet) I think I shall buy them for myself the next time I go there, and just put them away :)

*laughs* I have run across a number of couples who have done that.

Just register at two places. One posh place, one reasonable place.

Oh don't get your panties in a bunch kitty.
You do chicken much better then me, and you are a very good cook. So take some valium and bourbon.

The twice-baked potatoes are so easy and so mid-western.
Here is the recipe.
You take some regular old potatoes, scrub them clean, put them in the oven for 40 minutes (or in the microwave for 9 min)
Cut them in half and carefully scoop out the insides.
Put them in a bowl, mash them up, add butter, mash some more. Add some milk or sour cream (even yogurt works) and mash that up.
Then add some grated cheeses.
I used chedder, mozzerella, and parmasaen. You spoon it back into the potato shells, bake for about 25 minutes at 350F.
Ta-da, something to make.

You can make it fancy by adding softened cream cheese, maybe some bacon slices.

So don't bitch at me.

love Gen

I must stop at Target this very day. I need only one item. Wonder how much I will end up with?
