we have gelato from this new amazing place.
The guy who makes the stuff is from Milan and he is quite cute.
I suggest all girls who like desserts and cute Italian men should check this place out.

Did you know gelato has half the fat of ice cream? that way you won't feel bad showing up so much and eating like a pig.

sorbet, better yet, has no fat.

i say this, of course, with whipping cream and milk in my fridge to home-make ice cream.

yes, but one needs to get their dairy fix. and cute italian guy fix.

Yeah...talk about the pot calling the kettle beige (as we like to say in my house-hold)

Mmmmm whipping cream.

I am such a horrid little thing sometimes. I will buy whole milk with the cream on top and I will eat all of the cream.

I do the same thing with the yogurt.

I want my own cow.

is your place zoned for a cow?

just came home to taste the blueberry ice cream i made. pretty darn good, for homemade ice cream.

ah, i can feel the butter fat attaching itself to my waist as i type.

Somehow I doubt the neighbors would enjoy my enthusiasm for a bovine creature.

I haven't made ice cream in awhile. I tend to make it in the summer. Usually a nice peach flavor for July. Lot's of cream.

butter fat is a sign that god loves us and wants us to be happy.

i think butter fat is a sign that we're all trapped in a re-enactment of Hansel and Gretel.

rock on.

so wait, are we neighbors now? i keep thinking you must be pretty close by, but can't remember if you moved. if you're around, you guys should come by for a foodfest one of these days. as of today, there's a full-function grill in the house, in addition to gouts of wine ...

We are not neighbors.

I live in Redmond now (the things that love makes us do)
Maybe sometime soon we will move back to the westside and have a little dignity.

Living in the suburbs has its moments, but not being able to walk anywhere does leave one a bit down.

I like food. Andrew likes food too.
We are kinda easy that way.

So today we are going to dim sum with a friend, because we like food that much.

alas ...

you and Andrew will still have to come by when i finally get around to having a housewarming. there will be food.

I opt for gelato over ice cream a lot of the time. Love it.

I just had a really tasty Hazelnut gelato from Pagliacci's not too long ago. There was a pistachio gelato I'd get in California that made me feel funny inside.

I think you would like this place a lot.
They do a very nice pistachio.
