I have cheese in my purse. I need to put it in the fridge.
I met up with my Mother, two of my siblings and two family friends. We went to the museum and looked at Koonings, Pollack, interesting Chinese art and help my brother Mike figure out why he doesn't like most art. He is twelve and his interests are about music, small animals, and U.S. History. He is kind of a literal guy and that is cool and I can understand why he doesn't like a lot of modern/post-modern art. It can be a little odd. It seems he likes art that is representational. He had a real beef with one piece that was made entirely of legos. It wasn't of anything recognizable it was merely shapes. Though everyone agreed on a piece (that was nothing but bits of cardboard all tacked together) being absolute crap. Infact all of that particular artist's work was absolute crap.

I showed Mike the Van Dyck and he took a liking to that and said it made him think of Charles the I who he is familiar with because of a BlackAdder special. It turned out the person in the painting was a French ambassador and a member of Charles the I court. Interesting. He also liked a few of the still life pieces I pointed out. He thought how the artist showed the reflection of himself in a silver teapot was kind of neat. and He remembered one painting used as a comedy bit once. He tended to favor the Asian pieces and the tea house.

It was kind of nice to show him some things he could get.
I know a museum isn't his favorite place in the world.

Earlier we had some crumpets, and things. Went to teashops, bought a lot of cheese and had a nice time. The weather wasn't so nice and later on it became down-right ugly.
After I said goodbye to my family I went to catch the bus home.
Oh what an adventure that was.

First off, the bus I was going to catch never really arrived. Or it was incredibly late. The bus was packed full of people. Everything smelled of wet coats. Not one of my favorite things. The traffic across 520 wasn't too awful, until the end. I was near this woman who spent the entire time complaining about how crowded it was. She refused to move when people were trying to get by.
Finally we had an episode of Gennie flips out on a a complete stranger.
I was going to get off, I asked to get by and she said, "I am not moving." I told her she could have my seat and that didn't seem to please her. I told her this was my stop and she claimed she had nowhere to move. I finally lost it and said, "Listen lady, you had better move if you know what is good for you. Either you can take my seat or you can run the risk of me shoving you...hard." She moved.
I don't like to be aggressive with people, but for christ sake, I wanted to get off the damn bus and go home. It was cold, went and unpleasant. I didn't have time for her damn whining.
I am home.
I am now warm.

I am going to sleep well tonight.

And the cheese I bought, a nice le delice. Something extra creamy!
