So we go to this one place to look at antiques and stuff like that. (mostly we were looking for a tall floor lamp) and we looked at a multitude of antiques and then there was this one store dealt in nothing but lamps. I kid you not. They even had tall floor lamps.
They were closed.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh Why must my life play out like some sort of Bertol Brecht play? Wait if it was a Bertol Brecht play the store would be closed and then I would sing a song about cheese in my shoes.
But enough of that.
Mr. Jenner and I went into a food shop that sells British foods and other tea paraphernalia (you know quaint things and toile) and they sold malt loaf. Mr. Jenner was pleased. He bought himself a loaf of the malted goodness.
I just tried some. Not bad. Definitely British.

We just watched the last episode of the latest series of Spooks and oh good lord that was traumatic. I don't know if I am old enough to watch this show sometimes.

Oh God I want some so badly now... probably just as well I don't have any, I am capable of eating a whole loaf in a single sitting.
