Toad in the hole and "The More the Merrier". What a civilized way to spend the evening.
Next I shall introduce him to:
The Godfather
Holiday (Sublime Cary Grant/Katherine Hepburn movie)
The Lady Vanishes (dandy movie with Michael Redgrave)
Lawrence of Arabia

I figure a couple of epic films and a couple of smaller films to show-case some different genres and showing damn fine acting should be a good beginning.
Mind you I won't show him all those films in one sitting but I figure over time I want to show Mr. Jenner a number of my favorites. After all he introduced me to a number of interesting British television shows and now it is my turn.

I suppose I ought to go and clean the rabbits cages.

Yes but you would have to go on television as a "dukes of hazzard" expert. Could you handle that kind of shame?

He's never seen The Godfather?! What a treat! Well, they're all treats, really, but that in particular.

A rather nice little film. The book is absolute pap. Plain and simple. My Brothers and I have read the book and find it a fun read but it is definite pulp.

He is English and from the countryside. I don't think they watch movies out there. They only got electricity and shoes last week.
