The soup was good, the bread was a tad disappointing. Meh. I must conquer the bread.

robiewankenobie graced me with a genuine real-live telephone call and gave me tons O inspiration regarding wedding invitations. She is truly genius. Let's buy her a fruit basket or something.

I am essentially on vacation this week. (Kind of my prize for waking up early nearly everyday last week) So I am doing a bit of cooking. I should make people come over and eat the food so I won't go all Kirstie Alley in the kitchen.

I am thinking a lot about food from the Basque region*. Just Spanish cooking in general. Time to look through books.

Neeeverrrrrrr. :-) Anyone who taps their teeth is a pale imitation...you are the original. So far all my gateau basque post card hunting has come to naught. I really need to clean up the mess in this house...I think it's w/ the other half of my fridge magnets, which have been missing since moving in here.
