I was glimpsing at this morning's news and it seems some former astronaut's son was found with child porn. (Let's do a collective 'ewwwwwwwwwwww') While that is pretty darn awful there was a rather funny aspect (not ha ha funny) to all of it.

Schirra, of San Francisco, was arrested November 6 as he tried to board a Thailand-bound plane, authorities said. A luggage search netted photos of shirtless Asian boys, sexual performance enhancing drugs and candy, customs officials said.

I snorted because it sounds like the set-up for some sick joke and it seems so obvious in a way. Going to Thailand with that stuff in your luggage? What a freak and a half.

....

I had a reply to a resume I sent to a law firm. I was surprised. The nice lady asked me a couple of questions and at first I thought, "oh fuck I can't answer that. Why even bother."
I quickly changed my mind and dashed off something slightly forthright yet tactful about hating my job to death, telling her how terrific I am and why they ought to give me a bit of cash for my trouble. I don't think anything will come of it but it doesn't hurt to give it a whirl. Maybe they will think I am adorable.

....

As for family stuff things will be under control. Something will be sorted out and as my Mother said, "You are good at riding to the rescue and taking care of the family. That is a true talent." I like riding into the eye of the storm and I feel strangely calm in any sort of crisis. I like to think of it as a gift. Blood, violence, fear...none of it bothers me. I just focus on calming everyone down.

RAWR!
Me and The Wolf!

If I'm curt with you, it's because time is a factor here. I think fast, I talk fast, and I need you guys to act fast if you want to get out of this. So, pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the fucking car.

who really goes to Thailand for anything but sex? You can get the food here, and without worrying about sun blisters.
