Tonight I was reminded that I can't stand the scent of royal icing. Yet I keep smelling my hands and thinking, "it just doesn't go away." (pretty image isn't it)
I played around with ganache which turned out rather well.
My brother Michel is here and we are doing a bit of cooking. We made meatballs, then he helped make chicken and pesto with pasta and finally he helped spread ganache over a cake I have been playing with. A regular fucking Jacques Pepin he is. *sniffs hands again in disgust*

The pain comes and goes now which I suppose is a good sign. Though lately I have taken to feeling sick to my stomach. Not sure if that is going with the symptoms or something else entirely for good laughs. No I am not whatever you people on LJ land want to think. thankyouveryfuckingmuch

Now to feed the men some cake and make fun of anyone who isn't here.
