tonight we had the pleasure of attending the spring strings recital given by the students of Mrs. Pat Yearian. (one of the coolest ladies around in my opinion. She raised seven children, booted the school district into creating more programs for kids, and she is just a generally nice lady)
We were treated to a number of fine pieces by Bach, Brahms and so on. I enjoyed the Man of LaMancha medley performed by a quartet of brothers, and of course I am biased and though my sisters rendition of Minuet 3 was much better then the other little boys. I think half of the entertainment during the recital was sitting between my ten year old brother and my mother who kept crossing their eyes and making funny faces. It made it difficult to concentrate on a child playing, "lightly row" Afterwards there were cookies, some sort of cracker spread and juice. It was truly a lovely evening. Afterwards I came home, took a bath and read more of my current book entitled, "tulipomania" which explains what exactly occured in the netherlands in the 1600's when a single bulb would be sold for twice the price of a home. Most intriguing, it could be compared to the techboom of the late nineties.
Now...now I shall have a hotpocket. (pardon I should be exact croissantpocket)
I will feel dirty.

it is nice to know now and then, that I am a good person. I sometimes don't feel like it. Sometimes a girl needs to find validation from an online quiz. *has some more orange juice*
