Miss Kitty has been delivered to the Lesbian Catholics. *snorts*
I went and took care of a few errands, mailed some things and then came home. Time for a bit of laziness. Tonight for dinner we are having pasta and prawns. Maybe we will have some pate too. Because it is good to live in a slightly decadent manner on a Friday night. Now to take care of other irritating details.

I also need to figure out what would be the ideal coat to bring with me to Italy.

Tonight we watched the movie Saved which was rather fun. Kind of nice that they delved into the grey areas a bit. When I was in high school and college I ran across a number of kids like this. The interesting part was the number of them who had never really had any formal religious up-bringing until they were teenagers and they were roped in by Young Life or something and they took it on with a vengeance. I told Mr. Jenner it was just like a kid taking to music or drugs. I guess because I had a formal religious upbringing the whole idea of God and what not didn't seem like such a big deal to me and it was merely something I did and I never felt the need to "testify" in front of people. But then I always kind of took the whole thing from the Gospel about not acting like a Philistine and keeping your faith to yourself essentially. But I am weird like that. These kids I knew though...wow were they ever high on Jesus and Christian Ska bands. It was definitely an education for me at the time getting a glimpse into that particular sub-culture. I even had a friend in college who put out a zine devoted to West Coast Christian bands. She would nearly get hysterical with joy talking about Jesus sometimes. I suppose my role in all of this was kind of a Jane Goodall one. I observed them, argued with them a bit and let them talk a lot. (I think they thought I was doomed with my pluralistic approach to religion and worldly living) I suppose for them it was a place to belong.

I am FILLED with Christ's love!
