whine moan
Feb. 6th, 2010 04:08 pmMr. Jenner told me a funny thing. Today he and Senor Onion went on their Saturday swim. They were in the changing rooms and there was a man changing who had tattoos. Senor Onion said to Mr. Jenner, "That man's been drawn on."
Indeed.
It is kind of funny that he said that because it isn't like tattoos are all that unusual to him. His Grandma has a few and he is fond of the one on her arm. It is a moon/sun (My Mom is the sun, my father the moon) with four stars. (my Mom's four children) He finds it fascinating.
...
I had an absolutely wretched night of sleep. Miss Biscuit was fussy and extra hungry. (teething) and then I was woken out of a sound sleep by an awful migraine. I had the strangest dreams that went with it. I took a couple of extra strength tylenol and was able to lie very still and eventually fall asleep for a couple of hours. Then Miss Biscuit was up fairly early. She was not amused. Neither was I. Plus Senor Onion was up and ready to go. I made people breakfast, I changed a baby who exploded and I felt like I was going to throw up. It was glamorous to say the least. Once people were sorted and Mr. Jenner was up, I went back to bed for a couple of hours. It helped a little bit but then the migraine returned. More tylenol. Plus all that stupid back pain nonsense that is going on. I wanted to tear off my own head and throw up. Still... had a bit of time to relax. I found that if I ate comforting food I felt a bit better. Many kind thanks to the product that is Malt-O-Meal. That stuff with a lot of butter is good. I took another nap and a hot bath and that helped as well. As it is so nice out (and not just for February) I weeded a couple of beds in the garden. Migraines, sinus trouble & back problems make for a lousy Saturday when it is so sunny out. But the exercise did make me feel better.
I think we may have waffles for dinner. And sausages.
