fond regard
Apr. 6th, 2010 07:37 pmIt probably seems like all Senor Onion all the time these days. He is three and a pretty loud personality what with his... challenging but oh so typical behavior. "Hey I am three and I am going to act like you speak Swahili." We went on a tricycle tour this morning. Met a dog named Sasha and watched more road work being done. They have torn up the street about a block over from our house. All in the name of fixing water mains and just general hilarity. There is a lot of city workers standing around. They have hats. They point at things. Sometimes they hold things like shovels or check their cellphones. Imagine the twitter. "Woah this hole is deep."
I sort of tidied but didn't. I put some things away. I vacuumed. The kitchen still needs to be burned down. I think I may bake a cake or some cookies tomorrow. We had home-made macaroni and cheese for dinner. Plenty of chevre, beer and bacon. I also made a green salad because I insist upon eating green things. Maybe tomorrow will be waffles. I made applesauce with all of those awful half-eaten apples. The sauce is good. We can put it on the waffles. I need to think about fun new things to cook.
And now a picture of Miss Biscuit.

I think that dress looks dandy on her. (there are a couple more pictures if you click through) She needs more dresses. Something with definite color. She looks good in pastels but she looks freaking fantastic in vivid colors. Her favorite hobby these days is standing with the help of the coffee table and carefully walking/inching her way around the edge of it. She also likes to grab at your food. "oh hey that looks appealing." She can be satisfied with a large colorful spatula. She did like the home-made applesauce I gave her. She isn't much of a talker. It is more like she... sings. Or attempts to sing. She is a lady who is on the move. This morning she was sitting on the floor. She spied Senor Onion's main street playset (vintage yo.) She leaned forward, crawled a few inches and looked around. She quickly grabbed a little person (not the big chubby ones that they hand out now) and scooted herself back to her original spot, sat up and tried to pop the little person her mouth. She is quick. If she is fond of you she will lean in and slobber on your cheek or try and rip off your lips.
Miss Biscuit is one heck of a baby. I can't believe she is seven months old now.
