The owners of Kramer cat finally sold their house (it had been on the market for over a year.) They just moved out (and the new owners moved in). Really what it means is that Kramer won't be visiting anymore. (I kind of secretly hope the cat will run away and come back to us.) It is a bit disappointing. The kids are handling it pretty well. There is a bit of sadness because we were attached to her. It was a good thing having a part time cat because it has allowed us to see how Oscar would do with another cat around. He was okay with it once he learned that Kramer doesn't want her butt touch. (No butt stuff OKAY) And the kids adore Oscar (and cats in general.) and he seems to appreciate them. "Here pet me." "Here let me slap you awake to look at my food bowl which already has food in it but I act like I have no food." He is very much a part of the family but we may look around for a nice little black cat next year. Probably a grown cat. Hopefully a girl cat. A couple of cats would do nicely. It is a nice place for cats to live and wander.
